Good vision keeps you active and independent. After age 55, conditions like cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy become more common. If left untreated, they can affect daily life.
Routine eye exams find these problems early. They also keep your prescription right, so reading a novel or playing golf stays comfortable.
The American Academy of Ophthalmology says simple habits help. These include a balanced diet with leafy greens and fish, UV protection and no smoking. When you combine them with professional care, these habits support long-term eye health.
Our team focuses on prevention and early detection.
Between them, our team brings decades of combined experience.
Dr. Russell grew up in Atlanta. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Georgia in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Then he earned a Bachelor of Vision Science and Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.
Today, he performs the complete eye exams at Hindsight Eye Care. These range from routine prescriptions to checks for glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration.
Ibrahim has worked in the optical industry for over 25 years. He started in a 1-hour optical lab making lenses. Later, he managed opticals and labs for some of the largest eyewear retailers.
He enjoys challenging cases, such as low vision, double vision and aniseikonia, and he runs our 1-hour optical lab. Meet Ibrahim.
LaDonna has worked in eye care for over 30 years. She has been an optician in small optometry practices and large ophthalmology groups. She helps patients choose frames and lenses that suit their vision and their style.
She values the time she spends with every client. Meet LaDonna.
Our technicians run your diagnostic tests, and our receptionists handle check-in. Each of them plays a part in your visit.
